Which mezzanine works best for parts and kitting?

A free-standing steel mezzanine with a pallet gate usually fits best. It carries shelving and pallet loads, stands on its own columns and doesn't tie into the building. Decking is chosen for cart traffic and the weight you plan to store.

Can the mezzanine go in while our line keeps running?

Yes. Experienced installation crews we schedule and manage work zone by zone, often during off-shifts or planned downtime. We agree the sequence with your plant team so production and receiving aren't blocked.

What drives the cost of an industrial mezzanine?

Deck area, design load, height, decking type, stairs and gates are the main factors. Heavier loads mean heavier steel. Our quote lists each item against a drawing, so you can trade options before ordering.

Parts and Kitting Mezzanines for Riverport Plants

Manufacturing floors in Riverport lose space to line-side parts, totes and kitting carts. Put those on a deck above the line and the floor below opens up for equipment and staging.

We plan kitting mezzanines with a pallet gate at the edge, so a forklift can drop loads straight onto the deck. Staff pull and kit upstairs, then send totes down to the line.

From Measurements to a Finished Mezzanine

We start with a call or walkthrough and measure clear height, column spacing and the routes forklifts use. You get a scaled drawing and an itemized price. After approval, steel is fabricated and experienced installation crews we schedule and manage install it in phases.

Barge, Rail and Truck Traffic on the Floor

Riverport freight arrives by barge, rail and truck, so receiving areas can be busy at odd hours. We keep columns away from doors and approach lanes, and we schedule installation when traffic is lightest.

If the deck needs to move later, a free-standing mezzanine unbolts and relocates. More options are on our mezzanines page.
